Parton, 75, collaborated on a dessert with Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream for the benefit of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
The nonprofit organization describes itself as a “book gift program that sends free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, regardless of their family’s income.”

The so-called treatment is nicknamed “Jeni’s ode to the Queen of the Country: sweet and salty, with timeless attraction, deep American roots and makes you feel damn good,” the company said.

The ice cream went on sale on Wednesday and sold quickly through digital and Jeni locations, with some of the buyers going to the secondary market to make a quick profit on the popular product.

The dessert includes “layers of streusel with salted pretzel, sweet and easy-to-act thin cheese ice cream and red strawberry sauce with lipstick,” Jeni said.
Jeni’s presented an update of availability, saying that it still could not meet the demand, but “worked non-stop” to bring the product back on sale.
“We’re not there yet,” the company said. “As promised, we will provide a 48-hour notification via email and social media before launching the flavor, but we wanted to let you know that it will not be this weekend. Thank you again for your patience! ”
