Miami. Universal announced the inauguration on June 10 at the Islands of Adventure theme park of the most “Russian, fastest and tallest” roller coaster in the state of Florida, the so-called VelociCoaster.
Thrill seekers will have the opportunity to climb 47 meters high and be catapulted into their seats at a speed of 112 miles per hour in 2.4 seconds, while avoiding birds of prey and saurians preying in the area of the velociraptor.

It will undoubtedly be “the most intense roller coaster in history”, as defined in a Universal Orlando statement.
VelociCoaster will not only become the tallest and fastest trip in Florida, but will provide riders in advanced and sophisticated transportation vehicles with an audio system during the trip.
“This new roller coaster conceived and designed by Universal Creativem Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment teams brings to life a new Jurassic World story that combines epic thrills and jaw-dropping maneuvers,” Universal Orlando said in a statement.
The impressive VelociCoaster will transport visitors in a dynamic environment inspired by the “Jurassic World” movies, surrounded by detailed rocks and lush landscapes, the company added.

Once at the attraction, visitors will be greeted by Dr. Wu and learn the details of the new roller coaster that Jurassic World is promoting as its new “carnivorous expansion.”
On the electrifying journey, tourists will hear screams and even come face to face with some hungry Velocirapori who are looking forward to being released from captivity.
Attraction uses the same technology that has already been used on Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure roller coaster in the area dedicated to the world of Harry Potter, the most visited at Universal Orlando Resort.
The revolutionary seat design of this roller coaster offers a single front rider bumper at every turn of up to 360 degrees, leaving the occupant face down.
Universal Orlando has indicated that it continues to implement safety procedures and instructions to prevent any contagion of COVID-19, with measures such as examining tourists and team members, the obligation of social distance and the use of masks.
