Authorities reported that on Sunday they arrested those allegedly responsible for the murder of a motel employee in Carolina, which took place on Saturday.
Juan Miguel Castillo Martínez and Jacqueline Lugo Colón were arrested around 2:38 pm in the area of Francia Street, intersection with Nueva Street, in the Bitumen neighborhood of Hato Rey.
The motel employee, identified as 26-year-old Edmill de León García, was shot in the chest yesterday after arguing with customers, telling them they ran out of time in the room, so he has to expand or withdraw from the Site.
The incident took place on Saturday at approximately 13:33 at the Yess Motel located on Highway 848 in the Saint Just neighborhood of Carolina.
The victim was transported to a hospital, where the doctor on duty certified his death.
