Cyberpunk is unique to the Polish developer. CD Projekt Red announced both The Witcher 2 and The Wizard 3 two years before launch, which of course is more representative of the standard AAA version.
2077. Cyberpunk it also gives players the impression that CD Projekt Red takes a long time to develop a game, but again it’s misleading. While 2077. Cyberpunk was announced in 2012, did not enter pre-production until mid-2016, with adequate development, with a team of appropriate size starting even later. What has that got to do with it? The Wizard 4? Well, this week CD Projekt Red announced that new development will begin Cyberpunk and Witcher games starting in 2022. If so, it would probably mean The Wizard 4 – or whatever the end of the project appointment – will be launched in 2025 or 2026, given the calendars mentioned above. Working back, this would suggest that the game will be revealed sometime in 2023 or 2024 if it has a similar release-release program as previous entries.
What we do know is that it will not have is a huge gap between disclosure and launch 2077. Cyberpunk, because this week CD Projekt Red has confirmed that it wants to shorten its approach in this regard or, in other words, to reveal its games when they are closer to launch.
For now, take all this speculation with a grain of salt, because that’s all, speculation. However, it is not a completely unfounded speculation and beyond 2077. Cyberpunk, CD Projekt Red it is probably itchy to go further and return to his bread and butter.
