Katharine McPhee rushes to become a mother for the first time in a brief glance from an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

During the appearance of the 37-year-old singer, the topic of conversation focused on her newborn son, Rennie David, whom she met earlier this year with her husband David Foster, 71.

When Clarkson asked him how McPhee was doing physically, the composer said he was happy to be a new mother, despite the fatigue.

McPhee said, “I’m a little tired here and there, but I find moments to fall asleep and he’s such a good kid and I’m so in love.”

The former American Idol contestant added: “It’s the biggest job I’ll ever have.”

The 38-year-old host of the show, who is the mother of two children, agreed with McPhee’s statement and gave them to consider raising the mischievous children.

Clarkson said, “The hardest thing for me is when they’re so weird and you love them so much, but I do something that’s naughty and you’re like, ‘No, you’re not going to twist your finger around me. “‘

McPhee then talked about how much of her knowledge asked her about her future as a mother and why she chose to focus on the present.

She said to me, “My girlfriend … was like,“ Can you even imagine that one day you will have to get angry? And I say, “No, he’s so sweet now.” I can not imagine”.

Clarkson reassured the singer, laughing, that she would finally be with her son, and that she would realize that her first child might be more mischievous than she expected.

The hitmaker remarked, “Believe me, it will happen. It will happen and you will go, “Whose child are you?” ‘

McPhee shares her first son with executive and musician David Foster, whom she married in 2019, and previously married Nick Cokas from 2008 until they completed their divorce in 2016.

Although Rennie David is the singer’s first child, her husband, who is 35 years old, raised four older daughters with two of his former wives and placed his eldest child in adoption, reconnecting with her at for 30 years.

During an interview with USA Today, McPhee talked about how she tried to make a routine in her son’s life to prepare him for the future.

“I tend to follow the rules and try to keep a schedule … Discipline is good for children,” she said.

The singer also mentioned that Rennie’s upbringing was much less difficult than she had anticipated, noting that her son “slept very well so far, so I keep my fingers crossed. But it makes motherhood easier for a new mother.
