Hector Delgado returns to music with a new Christian single

Puerto Rican preacher and musician Hector Delgado returns to music this year with a new album and the release of his new song “Corre que se hace tard”.

The Christian single, which was produced by Delgado with Aneudy Maysonet, “relies on strong and reflective rhythms to convey an important message to all young people who have been lost on the streets due to ambition and power hunger.”

“I lived with the enemy for years, believing that luxuries, fame and money would give me happiness, yet I lost more than I gained. Through my praises, I urge young people to leave the life of the streets before it is too late “, said Héctor Delgado.

The video for the song was directed by Kelvin Rosa and Delgado and was filmed at the José H. Ramírez residential complex in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The audiovisual production is based on a mother who lives a constant struggle with her son who is on the street and announces to him that “the right way is God”. Her son does not listen to her and loses his life violently.

The audiovisual production is based on a mother who lives a constant struggle with her son who is on the street and tells him that God is the right way. Her child does not listen to her and it is too late for her when she loses her life violently. The video reflects this situation that occurs daily in which now the life cycle is for parents to bury their children, and not the other way around.

Delgado retired from music in 2008, after a successful career, as part of the duo Hector y Tito and as a soloist. He then became pastor of a Christian church in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico and in 2018 returned to music with the single “Remember Me”.

This new single is part of his new Christian music album, “La hora cero”, which will be available in May next year.
