Imprisoned woman who hit her carp with the bus while filming Daddy Yankee’s documentary

The 39-year-old woman, who was arrested yesterday after hitting a tent with her bus at the filming site of a documentary by reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee, has been jailed, San Juan City Police said.

This morning, Judge Glenn Velázquez, of the San Juan Court, set a $ 10,000 bond for Sabrina Wood on one count of serious damages and two less serious charges under Law no. 22 (art. 3.23 A, driving without a license and article 5.07, serious and reckless negligence when driving a vehicle). Wood was admitted to Bayamón because he did not offer bail.

According to the information provided, Wood arrived yesterday at approximately 7:30 in the morning at the intersection between Del Parque Street and Manuel Fernández Juncos Boulevard, where the filming was taking place, and requested the hiring of production staff. However, they indicated that they did not have them and left their information.

Two hours later, the San Juan resident returned to the scene with a microphone and “started shouting explosively, but the staff managed to get her to leave the place,” the capital’s police force explained.

Wood then entered traffic on Del Parque Street in his Toyota Tacoma bus, entered the production parking lot and hit a tent and chairs, causing unforeseen damage.

A 30-year-old woman suffered lacerations brought to the ground. It is not known if the urban music singer was in the area.

The driver was placed in civilian custody by members of the production and later arrested by an agent from the Santurce barracks.

Prosecutor Leonides Santiago ordered that charges be sent for the damage caused.

This week, Daddy Yankee won, for the third time, the Composer of the Year award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).

Likewise, the Puerto Rican performer and producer has added four more awards from this company, for a total of 42, which makes him the figure with the most ASCAP Latin music awards.
