Florian Tudor, the alleged leader of the so-called Riviera Maya band, is on the list of police fugitives from Romania.
The card indicates that Tudor, born October 7, 1976, has a warrant for pre-trial detention for the crime of blackmail.
On Tuesday, a court in Bucharest issued an arrest warrant in absentia Tudor, alias El Tiburon, upon acceptance of the request for pre-trial detention issued by the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT).

Tudor, who lives in Mexico, is charged in Romania of three crimes: attempted murder, blackmail and setting up an organized crime network, for which six of his collaborators were sentenced last Friday to between three and 10 years in prison.
The gang, a Romanian court pointed out, manipulated up to 100 ATMs in the Riviera Maya, Cancun, as well as Sayulita, Puerto Vallarta and Tijuana, to steal credit card data from tourists and withdraw money from their accounts.
