Celebrate Zelda’s 35th birthday with this Wind Waker orchestrated fan album

Zelda

This year marks 35 years of The legend of Zelda series. Nintendo has announced an HD remake of the Wii title, The sword to the skyand launches a Joy-Con Switch with the right theme, but other than that, it seems to withstand the holidays.

Regardless, fans celebrate Link’s 35th place in all sorts of ways and will join in the fun of the talented British composer Marcus Hedges – who composed for games such as Century: Age of Ashes, Cancel 2 and Ary and the secret of the seasons – assembled his own soundtrack orchestrated by The legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

This album, as mentioned above, can be listened to on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music and various other digital music services.

Hopefully this won’t be the last we hear about Wind Waker this year. In fact, in case you missed it – the 2002 classic is rumored to return later this year, once the HD version of Skyward Sword is released. So what do you think about the soundtrack above? Does it remind me nicely of Wind Waker on the GameCube? Leave a comment below.
