The film takes the premise of the 1999 teen comedy classic She’s All That (based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion and the 1964 classic My Fair Lady) and turns it on its ear.
The original followed a popular jock (Freddie Prinze Jr.), which bets on turning an “unattractive” girl (Rachel Leigh Cook) and turning her into a prom queen.
The remake follows a popular girl (Rae) who takes on the challenge of turning the biggest loser of her school (Buchanan) into the king of the ball.
