Before the verdict came against Brandon Clark – who pleaded guilty to Devins’ murder – her younger sister Olivia, her mother Kim, and grandfather Frank Williams each delivered victim impact statements.
“A lot of random people put their profile picture as the photo of my sister’s death and went on my page knowing I would see it without a doubt,” Olivia Devins said through tears. “The photo is still being sent to me to this day, but I have now deleted all my social media accounts.”
Kim Devins, Bianca’s mother, pleaded with the judge to sentence Clark to imprisonment “for the rest of his life”.
“We are trying to end the crime that our beautiful angel has taken from us by respectfully asking the court … to make sure that Brandon Clark stays in prison for the rest of his life so he can’t harm anyone else. and this could inflict horrific pain on any other family, ”she said.
Bianca’s grandfather told Clark that should he ever qualify for parole, “you can be assured that our family will represent Bianca and ask the review committee to consider this.”
Devins, who recently graduated from high school, had amassed a large following on social media across platforms before her death.
She was best known in the online gaming community. And it was on a social app for gamers, Discord, where Clark posted photos of Devins’s body, police said.
