In just a few days, Animal Crossing: New Horizons turns one year old. We could never have imagined the success that the title will have then, however here we are talking about the most important game of 2020. What a walk it has been so far!
However, there are many more. With this first anniversary just around the corner, Nintendo has detailed plans for the next game update. The update ends on March 18 and is a big one:
- 1 year cake – Nook Inc. made 1St. Birthday cake to commemorate the occasion. It will be sent to your in-game mailbox after the update is installed.
- Sanrio Sweetness – Add a little Sanrio jam to your island. Starting March 26, the Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack will be available for purchase at Target stores in the US at a suggested retail price of $ 5.99. You will be able to use these six vibrantly designed amiibo cards to invite cute and colorful The passage of animals residents inspired by the popular Sanrio characters on your island, including Rita, Chai and Toby. These amiibo books allow you to exchange bells with special Sanrio-themed furniture and in-game fashion items. You can even invite these characters to Harv Island for a fun photo shoot in Photopia.
- Custom Design Pro Editor + – The custom design app on NookPhone gets an update! Use Nook miles to Nook Stop in Resident Services to unlock the feature. It will provide a more robust set of features, allowing you to customize umbrellas, small flags, uchiwa and photo stands. And with a new expansion of 50 slots added in both Normal Custom Design mode and Pro Custom Design mode, you can really let your imagination run wild!
- Custom design portal – You can now add the Custom Design Portal found in the Able Sisters store directly to your in-game NookPhone app. You will be able to use it whenever it inspires you.
- Seasonal objects – Spring is in the air and with the change of seasons comes a range of new seasonal items! Just in time for April Fool’s Day, a variety of whoopee pillow colors can be ordered between March 26 and April 1 from the in-game Nook Shopping service. For something a little more stylish, you can get ready for the prom season with themed fashion items at the Able Sisters store from April 1st to April 30th. You can also order ball-themed items from Nook Shopping during this time, such as a prom night wall, prom night floor and a prom guard. Never miss the chance to dance!

- Build-A-Bear collaboration soon – The Build-A-Bear workshop will soon launch an Animal Crossing: New Horizons collection, exclusively online at buildabear.com. More details will appear.
- Super Mario Bros. 35of Anniversary Themed Articles – You may have noticed that new items have been sent to the Nook Shopping terminals in Animal Crossing: New Horizons this month. Now you can order clothes with familiar faces such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Wario. Super mushroom and? The block can also be ordered in the game as furniture items to enrich your island with Mario merriment. You can even use the new Warp Pipe items to travel between locations on your island. Why not try re-creating the Mushroom Kingdom?
