The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla 1.2 update adds Transmog and more cats

Assassin’s Creed ValhallaS Update 1.2 arrives tomorrow and adds transmog so that players can finally wear whatever they want without hurting their stats while killing the English countryside.

Transmog, or what Ubisoft calls “Change the look”, will allow you to customize the look of each piece of your equipment at Blacksmith Gunnar for a nominal fee of 50 silver each time. If you want the Assassin-y look of Hidden Ones, but with the remote armor bonus of the Huntsman armor set, transmog will eventually let you do that.

The system is common in MMOs as well World of Warcraft where players do not want their fashion preferences to hinder their character constructions. It was a God gives Assassin’s Creed Odyssey also, which also received it in an update shortly after launch. Maybe the next one assassin’s Creed the game can be launched with it directly from the box. Or any game anyway.

Update 1.2 also adds new abilities, including Root’s Loot, which will let your birds prey after shooting at a distance and a close-up camera option to play the game with a more over-the-shoulder look and feel. It will pave the way for Assassin’s Creed ValhallaThe upcoming spring-themed event Ostara Festival starts on March 18 and runs until April 8.

Update – 15:19 ET, 15/03/21: Tomorrow’s update has a long list of patch notes, buried in which is the news and more importantly which Valhalla it is finally getting more cats.

  • Now there will be more cats all over England. The best mess.
  • Foxes should no longer appear in Lunden.
  • Fixed an issue that downgraded Ubisoft Connect Rewards (ie the Spartan arc, Moonlight Ax).
  • Improving the behavior of the characters’ physics when running on stairs. The clothes don’t work anymore brrr.
  • Small boats will now catch fire when they throw torches at them.

You can stroke the viking kitten and have them join you on the long boat when you go out on the raid, and thankfully there will be many more of them soon.
