The unexpected hooded sweetheart of this year’s awards season, Jason Sudeikis, continued his offensive charm at the Critics Choice Awards, where he gave a sweet shout to former Olivia Wilde.
After a strong presentation at last week’s Golden Globes, the Apple TV + series “Ted Lasso” won several more awards at the 26th annual ceremony on Sunday night, with Sudeikis taking home the trophies for best actor in a comedy series and the best comedy series.
Accepting this last award in a fresh sweatshirt, Sudeikis corrected the course of his somewhat lively Globes speech with a handful of direct thanks to the cast and crew of the show before addressing his ex and their two children, Otis, 6 years old, and Daisy, 4 years old.
