The song “Patria y Vida”, by Yotuel, Gente de Zona, Descemer Bueno, Maykel Osorbo and El Funky, has almost the same does not like (I don’t like) on the digital YouTube platform, that likes (I like) that he touched his “opponent”, “Homeland or death for life”.
When you visit the account of the singer Yotuel Romero, where “Patria y Vida” was released a little over two weeks ago, you can see that the song has over 176,600 likes vs. only 6,011 does not like, figures recorded at the time of writing.
In turn, “Patria o …”, launched on the account of the official portal Cubadebate, accumulates 78,773 does not like with only 6,071 likes.
This coincidence could be due to the fact that the people who voted against “Patria and Vida” are probably the same people who gave their approval to Raúl Torres’ problem, although these data could not be verified.
Some users have even compared this competition to the political elections in Cuba and encourage their compatriots to express their vote as if they went to the polls to choose a candidate from one party or another.
“Updated partial results of Cuba’s first free elections in 1959. Don’t stop voting!” Carlos Miguel Mateos Rosaenz, a Cuban living in Colombia, called on his Facebook wall.
In this competition, no one has any doubts about who will win.
The video “Patria şi Vida” surpassed 3 million views on YouTube on Friday, with almost 20,000 comments since its premiere on February 16 around 19:00 (Miami time), during a live broadcast of the artists.
The audiovisual, recorded between Havana and Miami and directed by young filmmaker Asiel Babastro, was considered an anthem of Cuban freedom inside and outside the island, longing for a political change that will lead to the end of the dictatorship in his native country.
Another fortune ran away “Patria o …”, considered the worst song of 2021, According to Google.
The musical theme, produced by the Cuban regime with the intention of counteracting the success of “Patria şi Vida”, from the day it entered the air, generated a wide rejection among the population.
The failure was so great that official journalist and investigator Raúl Antonio Capote Fernández asked his friends support yourself by liking “Homeland or death for life” on Youtube.
Capote’s plea on his Facebook wall was deleted, not before Raúl Torres shared it on his profile, proof that his creation desperately needs the support of his friends and followers to try to save himself from ridicule.
The video was the meat of memes and mockery on social networks due to its bad bill, as well as lyrics and music, without forgetting that viewers do not forgive the fact that his message goes against the feelings of many of them.
