Joao Leandro Rodríguez is 24 years old and, although he is from Cali and started playing on the fields of Vale, most of his football career was spent abroad.
Rodríguez returns to Colombian football this time to give America a red card, a signature that scarlet fans received with doubts, waiting for the player to finally explode in football and to be able to contribute to the team.
Joao started at Deportes Quindío and later went on to disappear from Uniautónoma. But later, being very young, he started a journey through many foreign teams and in very few he managed to consolidate.
At the time, it was said that Rodríguez had been acquired by Chelsea and that the team had lent him to other clubs to give him a European mark.
So he was in Bastia, France, Vitoria Setúbal, Portugal, in the unknown Sint Truidense in Belgium, then returned to Colombia to play in Santa Fe and later in Cortuluá.
After these two experiences he returned abroad to sign for Tampico Madero in the second division of Mexico, from there he left for Central Cordoba of Argentina, returned to Mexico to serve as a member of the Necaxa ranks and now returned to Colombia, where he will play in America.
