150 new cases confirmed by COVID-19 were reported on Friday, and the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic reached 1,369, according to data compiled by MTN News.
The number of active cases in the state is currently 1,859, according to MTN News, and there was a cumulative total of 100,027 cases of the virus in Montana. Of the total cases, 96,799 recovered.
Currently, 76 people are hospitalized for the treatment of the virus, and the cumulative number of hospitalizations is 4,571.
The number of tests performed in the state reached 1,069,964, an increase of 6,545 in the previous reporting period of 24 hours.
The number of Montanians who have received at least one of the two vaccines is 241,785, and the number of Montanians who have received both vaccines and are now fully vaccinated is 81,673.
The numbers reported by MTN reflect the latest data from Montana COVID website, together with the additional data received from the county health departments.
Note: As COVID-19 cases increase in Montana, the disparity between state data from DPHHS and local data from county health departments continues to increase.
MTN has decided to use a combination of these sources to provide more accurate information on all media platforms. We believe this is a more accurate presentation of the situation in Montana.
The county’s local health departments can be alerted to cases before the DPHHS in Montana. As those counties share this information with the public, MTN believes that it should be reflected in our reporting. The use of these local data means that there will be times when the MTN coronavirus data does not align with the state report.
