The shooting left 2 people injured in Waligh County, Lehigh: Police

WHITEHALL, Pennsylvania (WPVI) – Whitehall Township police are investigating a shooting on a Walmart in Lehigh County on Friday that left two people injured.

The incident happened just before 6 pm on the 2600 block on MacArthur Street.

Police say two people were shot.

Witnesses at the scene say the incident happened very suddenly.

“When I came to the parking lot, I saw one of the Whitehall police cars coming flying at the main entrance here, next to TJ Maxx and then heading to Walmart,” said Scott Dias of Upper Macungie. “In a few seconds, we saw more than five or six police cars appear.”

Qusai Muhasen, New Jersey, said: “As I enter, I hear a boom.” I thought it was a car evacuation or something. “

There is no current word on the status of the victims or a reason.

At this time, officials have not released any other information.
