DENVER – The nighttime storm threw more than 9 inches of snow over many parts of the Denver metro area Wednesday evening through Thursday morning.
The area was upgraded to a winter storm warning on Tuesday night, and snow totals on Wednesday morning showed more than a foot of snow fell in parts of Denver, Jefferson and Douglas counties.
