does not stand still after losing its next-generation U.S. Postal Service (NGDV) contract to Oshkosh Corp. OSK,
as the electric vehicle manufacturer said on Wednesday that it had requested “additional information” from the USPS regarding the bidding process. The company said it is waiting for an answer. “The company intends to explore all avenues that are available to non-award-winning finalists in a government tender process,” Workhorse said in a statement. The company said it would hold a conference call on March 1 to discuss the financial results. Shares fell 9.4% in premarket trading, after falling 47.5% on Tuesday after the announcement of the USPS contract. Oshkosh shares rose 6.6% premarket, after rising 6.1% on Tuesday. In the last three months, Workhorse shares lost 42.8% through Tuesday, while the S&P 500 SPX
gained 6.8%.
