It was almost a cat astrophe.
A lion threw a zoologist in Germany on Sunday – and managed to escape the terrifying attack without major injuries, authorities said.
The unidentified 25-year-old woman, who works at the Osnabrück Zoo in Berlin, was cleaning the big cat’s cage around noon when he threw it away, according to police.
She was hospitalized but was not seriously injured, police said.
No other details about the savage attack were immediately available on Sunday.
The zoo, which is closed to the public due to coronavirus blockade measures, could not be reached for comment.
