The wreckage of a United Airlines plane crashed in the suburbs of Denver during an emergency landing on Saturday, with a very large part that seems to be part of the engine, hardly missing a house.
The plane landed safely and no one on board or on the ground was injured, authorities said.

Tyler Thal, who lives in the area, told The Associated Press that he went for a walk with his family when he noticed a large commercial plane flying unusually from below and took out his phone to film it.
“While I was looking at him, I saw an explosion and then a cloud of smoke and some debris falling from it. It was like a stain in the sky, and as I look at it, I tell my family what I just saw and then heard the explosion, “he said in a telephone interview. “The plane went on and I never saw it again.”
Thal was relieved to learn later that the plane had landed safely.
The video posted on Twitter by a woman who said she was the daughter of the people on board showed the engine completely engulfed in flames as the plane flew through the air.
