The beta version of Guilty Gear Strive was originally intended to continue until February 21st. However, many players reported that they didn’t really get a chance to try the beta due to server issues. There have been long periods of time when the beta was not available when it needed to be played.
To address this, The Arc system works has announced that they will extend the Guilty Gear Strive beta to all players. This beta is now scheduled to end on February 23 at 6:59 p.m.
Please note that the open beta test can only be downloaded until February 21 at 6:59 PST. If you don’t download the Guilty Gear Strive beta before then, then you won’t be able to play the Guilty Gear Strive beta on February 22nd and 23rd.
Arc System Works also noted that the beta test program may change depending on how the servers are retaining. More than likely, Arc System Works will be willing to further expand the beta if more issues arise.
The fighters who can currently play in the beta version of Guilty Gear Strive are Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl Low, Potemkin, Faust, Chipp Zanuff, Millia Rage, Zato-1, Leo Whitefang, Nagoriyuki, Giovanna and Ramlethal Valentine.
It leaves only Anji Mito and the mysterious 15th fighter. Remember that the latest release character for Guilty Gear Strive is scheduled to be revealed later tonight.
