PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say the family of a delivery driver was found safe after a suspect took off in the vehicle with the man’s wife and two young daughters inside. After a police chase on the streets of Philadelphia, the suspect was arrested.
Chopper 3 was over his head, and police were able to catch the suspect.

The abduction occurred on Broad Street and Erie Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Friday in northern Philadelphia.

Police say the driver for City View Pizza was making a delivery with his 25-year-old wife and 4- and 2-year-old daughters in the car.
Then the police say that a suspect jumped in the car and took off with the family inside. According to police, the vehicle was found and the woman and children are fine.

However, police say the suspect took off with another vehicle – a 2014 gray Toyota Scion – and was seen heading east on Spring Garden on 21st Street.

The suspect then led the police in a chase before he was finally captured near Franklin Square Park.
