Manson responded to Wood’s accusations on the same day as his own Instagram post.

No matter how or why, others now choose to distort the past, this is the truth. “

In 2018, Los Angeles County prosecutors refused to file charges against Manson on charges of sexual assault and abuse dating back to 2011, claiming he could not do so because the case had also expired for lack of corroboration. The accuser was identified only as an acquaintance of Manson’s.

On that occasion, Manson denied the allegations through his lawyer.
