Belgrade’s Red Star has apologized for the racial abuse of AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the Europa League clash on Thursday.
The two sides met in the Serbian capital, and Ibrahimovic, a Swedish citizen of Bosnian descent, was abused by crowds at home.

A video circulating on social media showed a man shouting a word of contempt used for Muslims in Serbia at Ibrahimovic.
“As a club, we did everything to ensure that the organization of the match was at the level of the two big clubs and we will not allow a primitive individual to throw a stain on the traditionally known hospitality of our country. and our people, “the statement read.
“The Red Star, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, will find the person mentioned above and will insist on him, who will bear all the consequences of such behavior.”
The match ended 2-2 with Steaua Roșie, which dropped to 10 men, scoring a goal from the break to win the draw.
