A popular Nintendo 3DS series would be revived on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, PS4 and PC. As is often the case, the Digital Gaming Evaluation Committee of Taiwan has leaked a bunch of games, including a pair of ports for a pair of superb Nintendo 3DS games. According to the Taiwan Evaluation Commission, The Grand Lawyer As chronicles – consisting of The Grand Lawyer As and The Great Ace Attorney 2 – come on the platforms mentioned above. And right now, these are the only platforms that have been evaluated. There is no mention of PS5 or any Xbox console.
Unfortunately, this is all the scoreboard shows. No release date is mentioned, however, usually though not always, when a game is rated for release, it is close to release or at least this is the case when ESRB or PEGI. It is known that Taiwan evaluates the games long before they are released, but also before their announcement.
In short, while these assessments may mean that Capcom will have an official announcement soon, this assumption is far from a slam dunk. In fact, because nothing here is official and from the mouth of Capcom PR, it is wise to take everything with a grain of salt. That being said, if any of these sound familiar, it’s because Capcom’s massive slowdown last year – which is taking place slowly but surely – has included the word for these two ports.
At the time of publication, Capcom did not comment on anything and is unlikely to do so. Like many in the industry, Capcom maintains a fairly strict “no comment” policy when it comes to leaks, especially when it comes to the variety of scorecards. If he gives a comment, we’ll be sure to update the story accordingly.
