FORECAST SUMMARY

We’re dry and cloudy tonight.

Then we watch some very isolated and very spent frozen rains on Monday afternoon. This will cause an icy glow on roads and sidewalks for the few places that receive it on Monday afternoons.

The highs will be at or below freezing on Monday.

Later in the evening, after rush hour, more places will start to see icy weather.

The frozen rain will be widespread on Monday night and will last for hours. So it will be quite frozen on Monday evening and Tuesday morning.

The icy rain ends on Tuesday morning during rush hour, but it will still be an icy shuttle because of all the ice I received overnight.

We are dry on Tuesday afternoon and we will even see the sun go down.

On Wednesday we will receive the sunny sky.

Take advantage of the clearer sky Wednesday night, heading to Mars near the crescent.

On Thursday, an all-terrain vehicle and a small drone helicopter landed on Mars. This will be the first time something has flown to Mars, and NASA hopes the rover will help answer once and for all, has there been life on Mars? The rover will search ancient fossils in a dry lake.

Back home on Thursday, we’ll see more snow in the morning for a few hours. Then it will go to some icy rains, to cause some ice on the snow.

Then the icy rain turns to plain rain on Thursday until dinner.

After that, we will only have simple rains on Thursday night and Friday throughout the day. Temperatures reach the 1940s for the first time in two weeks.

But, the rain ends with a cold front, so the next weekend is cold.
