Cultural activities for the 2021 commemorations
Various commemorations will take place this year, such as the 200th anniversary of the completion of Independence and the 500th anniversary of the fall of Tenochtitlan.
In this regard, the Ministry of Culture reported that there will be 72 activities, including exhibitions, the opening of archaeological windows and awards for archaeological, historical and ethnological research theses.
The head of the agency, Alejandra Frausto, explained that, on the occasion of the 190th anniversary of the execution of Vicente Guerrero, on February 14, an exhibition will take place in Cuilápam de Guerrero, Oaxaca.
