Martín Lasarte is the new coach of the Chilean team for the qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the Chilean Football Federation reported on Wednesday.

“Lasarte takes over La Roja to face the qualifiers of Qatar 2022, Copa América Argentina – Colombia 2021 and all the challenges of the national team. Lasarte will have as his first tests the home matches against Paraguay on March 25 and five days after the visit of Ecuador. Chile currently ranks sixth in the South American qualifiers, with four points from four games.
