A Louisiana woman who went viral online because she used Gorilla Glue on her hair after running out of hairspray traveled to Beverly Hills on Wednesday for help from a plastic surgeon.
The doctor offered to help after seeing a video of the Louisiana woman’s painful situation. Tessica Brown arrived in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning on her way to Dr. Michael Obeng’s plastic surgeon’s office in Beverly Hills.
He offered to help after seeing a video Brown posted on TikTok, confessing that when he ran out of regular hair, he used Gorilla Glue spray glue and his hair hadn’t moved in a month.
Brown documented his agony online. He made a trip to the emergency room, but that didn’t help. Not even the assistance of a friend who cut his ponytail.
A GoFundMe page raised over $ 18,000.
In an interview with TMZ, Brown said he still has excruciating pain.
“The headaches got worse, the tingling got worse. We couldn’t think of anything else to do, so we went with her on social networks “, she said.
Her videos prompted Dr. Obeng to help. He is originally from Ghana. He runs a charity that provides free medical services and has experience with burn victims.

Late this afternoon, Dr. Obeng said that after working at Brown for more than an hour, the procedure was successful.
