“The JCE set a first deadline that expired last Friday for the parties to file their appeals for review and reconsideration, with which came some voluntary interventions and other resources, and the council gave a second deadline that expires on Thursday at 2 p.m. afternoon. From next week, the plenary session will be able to respond to each of these reconsideration appeals “, explained Jáquez Liranzo.
According to the regulation 01-2021 of the Central Electoral Council (JCE), only PRM and PLD were designated as the only two majority parties, while the People’s Force remained as a minority party, reaching 4.54%, in combination with the two elections electoral. levels that were contested in the last elections on July 5, congressional and presidential.
According to this criterion, PRM remained with 44.95%, PLD with 32.30%, designating JCE those two parties as the only majority parties.
