Mary Wilson, the oldest member of The Supremes, died in Las Vegas at the age of 76.
Agent Jay Schwartz stated that Wilson died on February 8, 2021 at his home in Las Vegas and that the cause was not known at first.
Wilson, Diana Ross and Florence Ballard were members of the original successful group. Cindy Birdsong replaced Ballard in 1967, and Wilson remained with the band until Motown officially disbanded in 1977.
The group ‘s first song, which reached number one with a million records sold, was released on June 17, 1964.
