Ozuna on Billboard’s Best Latin Composers for “Los Dioses”

Puerto Rican singer Ozuna topped the Billboard magazine’s list of Latin composers after the album “Los Dioses”, in collaboration with compatriot Anuel AA, debuted at number 1 on the Top Latin Albums and Latin Rhythm charts.

Ozuna, according to a statement released on Monday, reached number 10 on the Billboard 200 due to that album, with which the artist already has a total of 5 albums debuting at number 1.

The singer also obtained his first single, reaching number 1 in 2021 with the success of his ENOC album “Despeinada”, which he performs with Camilo, at the top of three lists: “Latin Airplay, Latin Rhythm Airplay and Latin pop”.

“Despeinada” is the first single of the year that reached the first place on these three charts.

For these successes, Ozuna also confirmed last week that she will have a special release of the new film Tom & Jerry, which will soon open in cinemas.

Ozuna is a big fan of both characters, so much so that when she arrived at the recording studio at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, England, she wore a Tom and Jerry T-shirt before wearing the costumes for her scene.

Tom & Jerry is a film directed by Tim Story.

“It’s an amazing thing for me, a great opportunity. I grew up with Tom and Jerry and I’ve always loved watching them. Their ‘shows’ have always been fun and made me feel good. A part of the film reminds me of that time. It’s wonderful that everyone can enjoy their adventures, “Ozuna said of his participation in the film.

“Los Dioses” also ranked No. 1 on the Apple Music Daily list in countries such as Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama , Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

The album was also number one on Spotify’s “Top Debut Albums”.

The union of Anuel AA and Ozuna in “Los Dioses” follows a series of previous musical collaborations on singles such as “addict”, “China”, “Cambio”, “BEBE” and “La Occasion”, among others.
