Early in his career, Cano said that in 1964 he worked as an employee of the bank, but due to his friendship with Ramón Ayala and Cornelio Reyna and, due to their insistence, the New Leonez became a representative of the group Northern lightning, thus starting the foundations of his successful career behind the scenes. He has since served as administrator of more than 50 groups that have seen their most successful moments with the businessman.

In 2018 he received the Francisco de Barbadillo Vitoria Citizen Merit Award, in the Popular Culture category, by the government of Guadalupe, Nuevo León.

“It made me worried to start playing music, I really liked it and that’s where I started, leading that group. I have a career of 53 years, I run artists, I do events and I am still with him. First they said that Nordic music came here only in the north and today I set out to make it national and international and I have achieved it so far “, Servando said in 2018 when he received such a distinction.
