The open beta test of Guilty Gear Strive will be released on February 18, but will be available early for those who pre-ordered the game

Arc System Works is preparing (guilty) for another beta test for Guilty Gear Strive. On February 18, the masses will be able to try their game and more of its modes before being released on April 9.

The company released details about the upcoming test this morning, sharing details about what all beta players will be able to access and when it will be broadcast live. Those who pre-order the digital version of the game on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 will have the chance to play the beta a day earlier than anyone else.

“The open Beta test #GuiltyGearStrive will be available on # PS4 and # PS5 from 19:00 PST on 18/02 to 06:59 PST on 21/02,” Arc System Works said. Twitter. “Players who make a digital pre-order will be able to download Open Beta one day early on 17.02.2017 at 10:00 PST and will start playing from 19:00 PST.”

Those who choose to enter the beta version will be able to play 13 of the 15 launch characters for Guilty Gear Strive. Anji Mito will not be accessible here, nor will the 15th fighter.

In terms of modes, Arc System Works actually gives players the opportunity to try quite a few of them. The beta version of Strive will include local mode versus module, tutorial, training mode and network mode.

Online beta combat will be played using the net return code, and ArcSys notes that you will be able to enjoy matches with “a responsiveness comparable to offline matches”.

On the screen during beta matches, some numbers will be included at the top, indicating both the ping time and the number of return frames that appear during a match. The company encourages beta testers to include the two numbers they see at the top of the screen when reporting issues with the online experience to better identify issues and improve the launch experience.
