HOUSTON WEATHER: Is there a chance of snow in Texas next week?

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Is there a chance of snow in Texas next week?

Yes, but not necessarily in Southeast Texas. A huge mass of Arctic air will invade the country and reach the Gulf Coast.

Moisture coming from the west will mix with it and produce snow in North Texas.

Will he see the Houston area?

Well, our atmosphere may be cold enough to withstand some sleet or freezing rain around next Friday. Until then, it will only be a cold rain starting Wednesday.

This event is still a long way off and much can change.
