The MLB Show not only honors Robinson’s legacy, putting him on the cover of the game. PlayStation will also donate $ 1 to the Jackie Robinson Foundation for each MLB collector’s edition of The Show 21 sold in the United States by the end of the year.
You can pre-order the Jackie Robinson edition of MLB The Show 21 now, as well as the regular edition of the game, which features Padres Fernando Tatis Jr. on the cover.
Jackie Robinson’s pre-orders include four days of early access to the game starting April 16 – the day after Jackie Robinson’s annual MLB Day celebration.

With donations from MLB The Show 21 Collector’s Editions, the Jackie Robinson Foundation – which was created by Robinson’s wife Rachel in 1973 – will create the JRF MLB The Show Scholars program in partnership with PlayStation.
JRF MLB Scholars Show Scholars will receive four-year scholarships and support services such as career guidance and internship placement. More information about the Jackie Robinson Foundation programs is available here, and more information about applying to be the JRF MLB The Show Scholar will be announced in November.
The MLB The Show announcement of the Jackie Robinson game comes Wednesday three days after Robinson’s birthday – he would have been 102 on January 31 – and while the US is celebrating Black History Month.
