Covid-19 deaths have begun to decline in every section of the United States, the latest sign of improvement, as cases continue to decline and the momentum of vaccination accelerates.
The virus has been declining in the US for about three weeks, but reported deaths – the delay indicator, which is the final measure of Covid’s impact – have remained near record levels.
