Hey, there’s a new Animal Crossing makeup line! Oh it doesn’t matter. She’s already gone.
Like a meteor shower, the Colourpop x Animal Crossing collection had thousands of eyes staring at it, and somehow many of us missed it anyway. After going live at 10am PT (18:00 GMT), the collection – which includes palettes based on the Nook family, Celeste and the Blathers, Isabelle and the Labelle sisters – sold almost entirely.
At the time of writing, the only items available for purchase are the What A Hoot palette (various shades of gold and brown), the Nook, Inc. palette. (much green) and Flower Power blush, each costing $ 12 (around £ 9).
The full collection would have cost you $ 125 (about £ 91) and comes with a free sticker sheet. However, it is exhausted – as are the fruit-scented lip shades, the shimmering Bellionaire gel and the collection of all four eyeshadow palettes, which is called the “True Friends” kit. Aww!
We’ve managed to put the What A Hoot palette and the Nook, Inc. palette in the palette, in case you’re wondering. We will look like this beautiful.
