Zlatan Ibrahimovic he quickly rushed to the accusations of racism related to the comments he made Romelu Lukaku during AC Milan’s Coppa Italia defeat to Inter Tuesday night.
The pair were both booked while honking their horns and exchanging insults on the ground and a comment from Zlatan attracted special attention.
“Call your mother, do your voodoo shit” Ibrahimovic he is supposed to have said Lukaku.
The voodoo reference aroused suggestions of racism, but the Swedish striker was quick to trash this notion.
“Into the ZlatanThe world is no place for racism ” Ibrahimovic posted in a post on Instagram.
“We are all one race. We are all equal. We are all footballers, some better than others.”
Ibrahimovic posted the message alongside a viral video in which two young boys, one black and one white, are seen hugging each other.
