Russian President Vladimir Putin speaks at the Davos Agenda, a virtual event organized by the World Economic Forum.
It comes amid calls by the international community to detain opposition leader Alexei Navalny. Protests took place across Russia on Saturday and were mainly in support of Navalny, a prominent anti-corruption activist and critic of Putin.
Navalny was detained on January 17 immediately after returning to Russia from Germany, where he had been treated for nervous breakdown in August last year. Putin has been accused of being behind the poisoning; The Kremlin denies any involvement.
