Nearly two years after Adele announced her separation from her husband, philanthropist Simon Konecki, the couple reached an agreement on divorce.
According to the American press Us Weekly, only the last signature of the judge is missing for Adele and Konecki to be officially divorced. The ex-spouses determined the property rights and debts of the community through mediation.
The former partner does not use lawyers, but represents herself and turned to mediators to determine who will get some of her properties. Adele and Konecki have a son named Angelo, who is seven years old. It seems that both wanted custody of the child and tried to reach an agreement on him and the visitation regime through a mediator. The singer has a fortune of over 160 million euros.
The first news about their separation was released in April last year. Adele, 32, has asked to keep her divorce proceedings private.
According to “The Sun”, the singer filed a request to ensure that her divorce agreement is not made public and a judge in Los Angeles admitted the request for confidentiality. Rumors that Adele and Simon were married were confirmed until the night of the 2017 Grammy Awards, and two years later it was found out that she was the one who filed for divorce and began the separation procedure.
