The death of MTV star Charlie Balducci was determined as a drug overdose, six months after he was found unanswered at his home in New York.
Balducci, best known for his appearances on the American True Life documentary, was found in bed by paramedics, called to his property on Staten Island in July. The 44-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The New York doctor’s office has since confirmed that his death was caused by “acute intoxication” from a cocktail of prescription drugs, TMZ reports.

It is understood that Balducci had traces of oxycodone and hydrocodone, both opioid-dependent analgesics, and Alprazolam, an anti-anxiety drug known as Xanax, was in his system at the time of his passing.
His death was considered accidental.
The reality star has been married to his wife Sabrina for over a decade, although they were divorced at the time of her death. The couple shared two sons together, Louis, 19, and CJ, 17.

Balducci’s mother previously told TMZ that his death was unexpected because he showed no signs of illness, in his last words to her. about how happy he was to have his teenage sons.
MTV fans might remember best from Charlie from the 2002 episode of True Life, I Got Married, who saw him walking in an explosive rage at his limousine driver, who was delayed by two. hours to pick him up for his wedding.
MTV had been watching Charlie and Sabrina for four months, before catching their melts while waiting for the driver to appear.
