The Department of Health (DS) reported today, Sunday, two additional deaths of two women aged between 55 and 56, one in the subway area and the other in the Fajardo region.
Also, the DS daily report confirmed a total of 2,192 new positive cases for the virus, a reflection of the samples taken between January 8 and 22 this year. Of these cases, 831 are confirmed by molecular tests.
With these latest figures, the total number of deaths on the island due to coronavirus has increased to 1,773, and confirmed cases have risen to 84,578.
