Piers Morgan cried for a “narcissistic” tribute to Larry King

Former CNN host Piers Morgan has been fired in connection with his social media tribute to Larry King, whose death was announced on Saturday.

Morgan replaced King in CNN’s “Larry King Live” in January 2011 to host the name “Piers Morgan Tonight,” a move that caused tension between the two. Co-anchor “Good Morning Britain” chose to address the tension mentioned in acknowledging King’s death while taking a beating at King’s former marriages.

“Larry King was a hero of mine until I fell after I replaced him on CNN and he said my show was ‘like you see your mother-in-law walking on a rock in your new Bentley.’ (She married 8 times, so she was a mother-in-law), but she was a brilliant broadcaster and a masterful TV interviewer. ” is shown on the tweet.

The post was not very good for some of King’s fans, who immediately called Morgan for the insensitive message.

“The fact that you had to wait until Larry King passed to post this drivel speaks to your character.” wrote a tweeter while added another, “So useless, dead men. What do you get by insulting him other than upsetting his family? ”

Several others accused the 55-year-old of trying to make King’s death about him.

“Piers Morgan is the ultimate narcissist (and, frankly, the most annoying). It is unbearable. Nothing can happen without him somehow relating to himself and his miserable life. A man just died. F-king of hell ” wrote another frustrated Twitter user.

However, there were a few Morgan supporters who came to the British defense, believing that he should be praised for his honesty.

“This is honest” wrote a fan, “And yet you found a way to keep it respectful. I appreciate this. I hate fake things. ”

“Me too,” Morgan he replied. “Larry hated me to replace him on CNN and he never hid his secret from me, which I found very sad because he was one of my heroes – but I still think he was a great broadcaster and one of the great TV of all the times.
