Fauci explained that he faced opposition from the previous government when the opportunity arose to appear on Maddow’s show. He said he does not envision those same roadblocks under the new Biden administration.
“Why would you want to go to the Rachel Maddow show?” ‘Well, because I like her and she’s very good,’ he said, portraying a conversation during the previous administration.
“I don’t think you’re going to see that now,” Fauci continued, referring to the new government. “You won’t find yourself deliberately holding back good people when the press asks for it.”
