The Green Bay package listed only two players with injury designations in the final report of the team’s injury before the NFC championship game.
Defensive line Kingsley Keke will miss his third consecutive game due to a concussion, while defender Kevin King is listed as doubtful after suffering a back injury this week. King did not train on Friday.
Coach Matt LaFleur has said he will give King, the incumbent, the rest of the week to prepare to play.
“Hopefully it will be good to go on Sunday,” LaFleur said Friday.
King did not play in the first meeting with the buccaneers. The Packers just added veteran Corneliu Tramon Williams to the training team, adding another layer of depth to the position that will enter on Sunday. If King can’t leave, Josh Jackson and Ka’dar Hollman are both available and Williams could be removed from the training squad.
Not having Keke anymore is a hard blow, given what he could have offered as an inside fighter against Tom Brady. Harrison Snacks will likely be active again on Sunday.
The LaFleur team received a lot of good news. Kicker Mason Crosby has no injury title and will play against the Buccaneers. He injured his shoulder to an extra point during last week’s victory over the Rams. The Packers will also have back AJ Dillon, who faces a four-point injury but does not have an injury name for Sunday.
Defender Krys Barnes (thumb) and runner Jamaal Williams (ankle), both new additions to this week’s injury report, will also play.
The buccaneers excluded the recipient Antonio Brown and categorized the safety of the debutant Antoine Winfield Jr. as doubtful.
