“Blackout Challenge”, with a lighter version called “Passout Challenge”, has circulated on social platforms, including TikTok, in the last year.

It is currently considered to be one of the most popular challenges on TikTok.

Also known as the “fainting game”, “suffocation game” or “quick dreaming”, the challenge requires users to get lost for a few seconds.

Similar dangerous trends, such as the “Blue Whale Challenge”, have prompted police warnings after being linked to numerous deaths around the world.

The tasks of the “blue whale challenge” can range from watching horror movies to waking up at odd hours and eventually progressing to self-harm.

On the 50th day, the control manipulators behind the “game” allegedly instructed the young people to commit suicide.

Experts have warned of the risks associated with these online challenges, including fainting, seizures, brain damage and even death.
