The long-awaited Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing will debut next month, bringing more power and more line capacity to the Cadillac range. GM Authority reports that you will be able to book one of the first 500 units (250 CT4 and 250 CT5) for $ 1,000. Once the top 500 speaks, dealers can continue to order (and mark) the cars themselves.

The 500 cars will be special, of course. GM Authority says being the first in line will give you some special goodies:

Each of the vehicles included in the Cadillac Blackwing 500 bookings will come with one of the vehicle’s first serial numbers, as well as a certificate of authenticity and a session at the Cadillac V-Performance Academy at Nevada’s Spring Mountain Resort Racecourse, plus a “gift.” not yet specified.

While both CT4 and CT5 use Blackwing on their behalf, Blackwing will be the culmination of brand performance, according to Cadillac – no one will be powered by the discontinued Blackwing engine. We can’t say for sure, but the Blackwing CT4-V is expected to receive a modern version of the ATS-V twin-turbo V6. The CT5-V Blackwing is expected to receive a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 from the Camaro ZL1.

The new Vs will be previewed on January 30 during the 24 Hours of Daytona, and the official debut is February 1 with reservations open the same day.
